How can I schedule my dog's first training session?
For Winter 2026, all training sessions will be conducted:

A) Remotely via Google Meet (or by phone)

B) At Puppy's Home.

C) At a pre-determined "Field Trip" Location.

Mayille's Canine Cabin will re-open after winter.
Will there be other dogs present at the training session?
Usually, No. Occasionally the trainer's helper dogs help with puppies or reactive dogs. This follows a minimum of one prior session.
GROUP CLASSES would include other dogs and handlers and will renew in March.


How should I prepare for an in-home session with CHQDogs?

If a main entry is not clearly accessible, please message the trainer with entry and parking directions. A well lit driveway is appreciated!

Withhold some of your dog's prior meal as we will be issuing lots of treats during training.

Make a list! The trainer arrives with lots of training ideas and these are always customized to your goals and unique dog.

At the end of the session, you will receive a written summary with reminders on what to practice.

Puppy clients will gain access to CHQDogs' Puppy Portal with additional resources.
