DOGGIE MANNERS GROUP CLASS WEEK ONE
Hi everyone, (this applies to registered students only)
I am so excited to get our class started Monday March 9th! We will be meeting weekly for the next six weeks at St. Timothy (3748 NY-430, Bemus Point).

To make sure we hit the ground running, please take a moment to review these first-day details:
The First Class: Humans Only!
Our first session is for human students only. This allows us to cover the foundations without the distraction of our excited pups. Your dog will join us for weeks 2 through 6.
Arrival & Schedule
-
Check your messages: Please check your email/texts on class days in case of weather-related cancellations.
-
Punctuality: While I love the enthusiasm, please avoid arriving too early. This gives me time to get the space fully set up and ready for you!
-
Location: We’ll meet inside, though on nice days we may do some "Tailgate Training" in the parking lot.
What to Bring (and Send)
-
Vaccine Records: If you haven’t already, please email carly@chqdogs.com a copy of your dog’s current vaccine records before Monday.
-
The "Scent" Towel: Bring a dish towel or washcloth you don’t mind losing. Give your dog a good rub-down with it to collect their scent, then place it in a sealed baggie with their name on it. We’ll be trading these with classmates!
-
A Favorite Puzzle: Bring a puzzle toy your dog enjoys. If "enrichment" is a new concept for you, don't worry—we’ll dive into why these are so helpful.
Families & Note-Taking
-
Guests: Couples, families and friends are welcome! If you are bringing children, please ensure there is an extra adult present to supervise them if needed.
-
Notes: You are welcome to take notes, but I will also email a lesson summary to you after each class.
You’ll also get to meet my demonstration dog, Brimstone, who is very excited to meet you all!
PS - There is a waitlist for the class so please let me know ASAP if you have decided not to attend.
Please let me know if you have any questions. See you Monday!
Best,
-Carly D
